Outstanding FGCU BSN NCLEX-RN Pass Rate for 2021

FGCU BSN students achieved an outstanding NCLEX-RN pass rate for 2021. Our overall pass rate was 97.67% The national average for Baccalaureate programs was 86.06%. When benchmarked, the BSN Program pass rate at FGCU is the highest of the State University BSN Programs once again. We extend our Congratulations to Dr. Kelly Goebel, BSN Program Director and all Faculty and Staff who worked to achieve this result. The effort put in to maintain Program standards especially considering COVID has been outstanding! Way to Soar Eagles !!!

BSN Students Honored in FGCU Writing Awards

Congratulations to BSN Nursing Students Cheyla Buck and Madeleine Goldman for their participation and submission of successful writing samples in the FGCU Writing Awards. Cheyla Buck’s writing sample, “Health Promotion: Teen Pregnancy”, was selected to be the winning submission in the Health & Human Services category. Madeleine Goldman’s writing sample, “Health Promotion: Texting and Driving”, was selected to be the runner-up winner in the Health & Human Services category. This is an exceptional accomplishment for our two brilliant BSN students worthy of recognition as the Writing Awards Committee received almost 200 entries from students across the university. These two students were honored at the 6th Annual Writing Awards Ceremony and Reception Celebration that was held on Thursday, March 18th where they received recognition for their remarkable writing skills. We are very proud of our students, keep up the excellent work and Go Eagles!!!
