Communities in Transition
Toggle More InfoThis program supports faculty, students, and community partners in joint research and service opportunities focusing on state and region-wide advancement efforts. Projects tend to focus on Southwest Florida and the Caribbean region and explore the impact of change or disturbance, or document how communities respond to transitionary events. These projects include meaningful and sustainable service initiatives that enable participating faculty and students to help the natural and human communities in these locations. We seek undergraduate contributions to the burgeoning academic conversation on service learning and community-based research.
