Andrew Morgan - FGCU Entrepreneurship Major

Entrepreneurs think outside of the box

Creative problem solving is a skill every organization needs. Our students have it.

FGCU Entrepreneurship Major Andrew Morgan

Andrew Morgan - Corporate Entrepreneur

Andrew Morgan (‘20) found the Entrepreneurship program by accident. He took a class with Instructor Annie Stout because he wanted to learn more about creating a business. In doing so, he fell in love with the innovation process. He said, "this program saved me from becoming a college dropout. I felt like this was my last shot to make it through college." Once he committed fully to the program, he made friends for life, learned new skills, and found his own unique pathway.

Andrew believes the entrepreneurship program is so unique becaues all of the professors are entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs themselves. They, "share their business and life experience with students so they can learn from their mistakes. The Entrepreneurship program gave me the tools to be successful in my own career. The program prepared me so well for my current sales associate role at Align [well known for their invisalign product]. There are things I learned in Excel that I ended up teaching my coworkers. I utilize everything that I learned in Dr. Arseneau’s class almost every day. The biggest takeaway from the Entrepreneurship Program, for me, was being able to grow my networking skills and be prepared for the job market."

“The hands-on aspect of the education you get at FGCU is incredible. It's great when you have professors willing to put in the extra time to help you outside class.”
