EXERCISE IS MEDICINE®
Exercise is Medicine (EIM) is a collaborative, cross-campus program built to help students balance health, wellness, and physical activity with academics and the challenges college may bring. Studies show that staying active in your college years helps you perform better in the classroom – so let’s work together to make movement a part of our daily lives on campus! Whether it is swimming, hiking, walking, or Yoga – find your fit to move more & sit less with #eimFGCU.
**Were you referred to the EIM program and are interested in getting started? If so, fill out this form.
FGCU Fitness provides opportunities for FGCU students to become certified in various disciplines and formats in the area of fitness. We partner with organizations such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Exercise Trainer Association (NETA) to host training certification classes here at FGCU. If students are interested in obtaining certifications, but cannot attend the class offerings below the American Council on Exercise (ACE) provides excellent online training.
