Located at 5820 Buckingham Rd Fort Myers, FL 33905, the Eagle Challenge Course is roughly 18 miles north of main campus. Set amongst 10 acres of green fields and pockets of pine uplands and oak hammocks, the Eagle Challenge Course is the perfect outdoor experiential learning laboratory for you and your group. We offer a variety of programs to best meet your group’s needs and goals. Programs can be customized by duration, program types, and expectations, with our staff selecting the best possible combination of activities for your group to achieve its desired outcomes.
Nervous? All of our program types operate on the concept of “Challenge by Choice” meaning that participants will be able to choose their own level of challenge. Our staff are aware that each person’s challenge is different, and are respectful of this.
Not sure what is best for your group? Simply fill out our reservation request form with the dates you are interested in, select the box that says “I'm not exactly sure what program is best for my group.”, and our staff will be in contact within 2-3 days to figure out what type of program is right.
Reserving the Eagle Challenge Course
Step One: Fill out the Reservation Request Form.
Note: All reservation requests must be submitted at least 15 business days prior to your desired date. You can view available dates on the ECC Calendar at the bottom of this page. Non-FGCU groups must submit request at least 30 days prior to desired date.
Step Two: You will receive a confirmation email from the Outdoor Pursuits staff, within 1 to 3 business days, indicating that your reservation has been received and is being reviewed.
Step Three: Once reviewed, a member of the Outdoor Pursuits staff will contact you to discuss

Above fees are charged on a per person, per hour rate. For example, 10 participants on a 2 hour Low Initiatives course price would be calculated as 10 (participants) X $3 (course type fee) X 2 hours = $60.

*In order to obtain the RSO/RSC rate, ALL participants must be current FGCU students and present a valid Eagle ID at the time of arrival. This category applies to Registered Student Organizations (including Fraternity and Sorority Life) and Registered Sport Clubs.
