Baseball
Toggle More InfoOur Baseball Club is affiliated with the NCBA Division I (National Collegiate Baseball Association) and they compete in the spring. The club is open to all FGCU students and while they do have tryouts for the final travel roster (a maximum of 30 due to NCBA rules), they welcome players of all skill levels to attend practice.

Bowling
Toggle More InfoOur Bowling Club is a coed club and they are associated with the USBC (United States Bowling Congress). They accept students with a variety of skill levels. No experience is required to join. They practice weekly off-campus at Headpinz Fort Myers. They will begin competing in USBC Collegiate tournaments this fall.

Cheer
Toggle More InfoOur Cheer Club is a coed club and they are associated with the NCA (National Cheerleaders Association). They will be attending the NCA National Championships for the first time this spring. They accept students with a variety of skill levels and no experience is required to join. They currently practice off-campus at Top Gun Training.

Dancing E'Gals
Toggle More InfoThe Dancing E'Gals are our Competitive dance club and they also perform at NCAA Athletic events such as Men's and Women's Basketball games. They are affiliated with UDA (Universal Dance Association) and typically compete at Nationals every January. They have auditions in both the spring and fall to completely fill their competitive roster.

Equestrian
Toggle More InfoOur Equestrian Club is current affiliated with the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) and compete in Zone 5 Region 5. They typically travel to 4-5 events each semester and are very active in the campus and surrounding community, participating in multiple on-campus events and Community Service events. They practice off-campus at Waldpoint Farms and you do not need to bring your own horse to be on the club.

Field Hockey
Toggle More InfoOur Field Hockey Club is a coed club and one of our newest. They practice twice a week on campus and are hoping to travel to tournaments starting next fall. No previous experience necessary to join.

Fishing
Toggle More InfoOur Fishing Club is a coed club that competes in a variety of local, regional, and national tournaments along with hosting a few different events throughout the year in both saltwater and freshwater fishing. They also hold meetings on campus that you can be involved with as well.

Toggle More InfoOur Gymnastics club is relatively new and are always accepting new members of any skill level. They currently practice off-campus at Extreme Air Sports and it is an open coed sport club.

Ice Hockey
Toggle More InfoOur Ice Hockey Club is affiliated with the Men’s ACHA and actually consists of two teams, a Division II and a Division III team and both teams currently practice and play at Germain Arena. Both teams typically receive bids to the National Championships and our D2 team has won the National Championship in 2018, 2016, and 2012. Tryouts typically happen in the early fall for the travel rosters. More information can be found on their website below.

Lacrosse (Men's)
Toggle More InfoOur Men's Lacrosse Club is afflicated with the MCLA and competes in the Division II SELC (Southeastern Lacrosse Conference). Last year, they received a bid to attend the National Championships in Irvine, CA. They accept all experience levels and practice 3-4 times a week on campus with their main competitive season being in the spring semester.

Their main competitive season occurs during the spring and they typically practice 2-3 times per week on campus. They are always looking for new members and no experience necessary to join.

Martial Arts
Toggle More InfoThe Martial Arts Club is a coed club that practices a variety of Martial Arts styles including: HapKi Do, Tae Kwon Do, Jeet Kune Do, Kali Escrima, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and self-defense. They typically practice on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the Group Fitness Studio in the Rec Center and no experience necessary to join.

Toggle More InfoOur Medieval Combat Club was formerly known as our Foam Fighting Club. They participate in a variety of tournaments in the state and welcome members of any skill level! They primarily practice the style of Dagorhir and practice on campus a few time a week and travel around the state and region to compete at tournaments.

Toggle More InfoThe Powerlifting Club is a coed club and they are affiliated with USA Powerlifting and compete in their collegiate division and consistently qualify members to attend Nationals. They practice in the Strength and Conditioning Room of the Rec Center and at an off-campus gym, Labreche Training Systems.

Quidditch
Toggle More InfoOur Quidditch Club is a coed club affiliated with the Florida Quidditch Conference and compete in various tournaments during the fall and the sport is based on the game in Harry Potter. They accept any and all skill levels and are used to teaching people the game, they also practice and compete year-round.

Roller Hockey
Toggle More InfoOur Roller Hockey teams are affiliated with the NCRHA (National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association) and compete regionally and nationally. Both our D1 and D3 teams consistently qualify for Nationals. They practice off-campus at the Fort Myers Skatium in downtown Fort Myers.

Toggle More InfoOur Men’s Rugby Club is affiliated with USA Rugby and compete in the Men’s NSCRO (National Small College Rugby Organization). They typically practice 2-3 times per week on campus and occasionally off-campus at Estero Community Park when they practice with the local Naples Hammerheads team. No experience necessary to join and learn.

Toggle More InfoOur Men’s Soccer Club competes in the Southeast Collegiate Soccer Alliance (SCSA) League which is affiliated with the NIRSA National Soccer Championships. Their competitive season is primarily in the fall but they do practice in the spring and typically attend one spring tournament.

Toggle More InfoOur Women’s Soccer club competes in the SCSA Conference, which is affiliated with the NIRSA National Soccer Championships. They accept any and all skill levels and try to field the best team possible for trips and home games. The competitive season typically occurs in the fall, where they can practice up to three times a week but they also stay active in the spring with attending at least one spring tournament.

Toggle More InfoOur Softball Club is affiliated with the National Collegiate Softball Association (NCSA) and they compete against many of the other universities in Florida. Their competitive season starts in the spring semester but they typically have one tournament in the fall they compete in. They typically practice once a week on campus and at least one other day at a local batting cage called Extra Innings.

Spear Fishing
Toggle More InfoThe Spearfishing Club competes in spearfishing and freediving tournaments around the state and region. They are a coed club and often also just have local trips and competitions with FAU along with hosting local tournaments.

Swim
Toggle More InfoOur Swim Club is a coed club and they accept students of all skill levels and don’t have tryouts to join the competitive team. They practice at the Aquatics Center here on campus about four days a week. They host two meets a year and typically travel to an additional three to four meets. They have been qualifying more than 10 swimmers to attend Nationals in the last few seasons!

Tennis
Toggle More InfoFor the coed Tennis Club, they are affiliated with USTA Tennis-On-Campus program and compete in the Florida Section. They practice on the tennis courts on campus near North Lake Housing and Alico Arena and accept players of all skill levels. They have practice Mon-Thurs from 6-8pm. They typically travel with 3-4 teams of 4 to tournaments across the state.

Toggle More InfoOur Wrestling Club is affiliated with and competes in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) and they have practices Mon-Friday from 2-4pm in the Aux Gym. They have consistently qualified wrestlers to attend the National Championships.
