Clemons, Andi
Andrea "Andi" Clemons is the Director, Academic Affairs, Administration and Budget. Ms. Clemons provides operational leadership within the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs, and also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational initiatives that support the strategic goals and objectives of the division. She is responsible for management of the Provost’s budget and has oversight for Academic Affairs’ financial activities and internal controls. In addition, she coordinates the academic appointments, faculty promotion process, sabbatical, and courtesy faculty appointments within the Provost’s Office. Andi serves as the liaison with other academic administration staff, University Budgets, and Human Resources to ensure the most efficient use of resources in addition to assisting with the facilitation of faculty/staff searches and hiring processes within the Division of Academic Affairs.
Andi joined Florida Gulf Coast University and the Office of the Provost in January of 2017. Prior to joining FGCU, her experiences included working in Financial Aid, Administrative Services, and Student Affairs. She has over 10 years of experience Higher Education in both the private and public sectors. Andi holds a Bachelor's degree in Art from The College of Mount Saint Joseph and Masters of Arts in Integrated Studies with a focus on women's leadership from Northern Kentucky University.
