Allison Dieppa joined FGCU's faculty in 2011. Before coming to Florida, she taught at the University of New Mexico and Central New Mexico Community College. She has also worked as a writer in the public relations and entertainment industries, experiences that inform her teaching.

When not in the classroom, Ms. Dieppa enjoys mentoring students and serving as faculty advisor to Sigma Tau Delta (the International English Honor Society).
