Donya Salman Profile

Donya Salman is in her third year with FGCU Athletics after joining the Eagles in October of 2021. She comes to Southwest Florida after spending her previous two years at Glenville State College as the Sports and Information Graduate Assistant.

A native of Mississauga, Ontario, the Canadian obtained her BS in Business Administration at Chowan University and MBA at Salem University in May of 2021.

During her time at Glenville State in West Virginia, her role within athletics was to maintain in-game statistics and oversee all athletic social media platforms.

Salman was also the main contact for baseball and softball teams. Salman additionally worked with the Mountain East Conference as the official statistician for the MEC Softball Conference Championship in May of 2021.

Donya was also a member of the softball team at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. While working towards her bachelor’s, she also interned with the Ontario Blue Jays as the Administrative Assistant and Social Media Marketer.
