University Recreation and Wellness

University Recreation provides state-of-the-art facilities, innovative programs, a gateway to lifelong well-being, and an avenue for student success. Within these spaces, our community lives an active life, grows personally, develops professionally, and has fun. We are the recreational home for FGCU.

NIRSA, Leaders in Collegiate Recreation (formerly the National Intramural Recreational Sports Association) supports college and university efforts to develop students into future leaders, NIRSA members support their learning and growth by fostering lifelong habits of well-being. Leadership, teamwork, dedication and respect are among the many skills exercised by inclusive competition, fitness and recreation.
