Elise George Profile

Elise George is in her second year of serving as the Graduate Assistant for Athletic Marketing. Within this role she assists in enhancing the game day fan experience, engage in community and student relations, and help with the development of season long marketing initiatives for all of FGCU’s NCAA DI teams.

Prior to moving to Southwest Florida, Elise interned with the American Volleyball Coaches Association at their headquarter office in Lexington Ky., assisting with strategies for membership relations and the recognition of various awards. She additionally worked for the University of Kentucky Athletics in their Operations and Marketing departments. Within these roles she gained valuable experience and insight into a Power Five sports program’s day-to-day operations, development of in-game promotions, and growth of fan engagement and attendance.

Elise graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2022 with a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing and Management. She is currently a graduate student at FGCU working towards her Masters of Business Administration.
