Jennifer attended the University of Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science
in Microbiology and Cell Science in 2004. She is currently wrapping up her Master
of Science in Medical Microbiology and Biochemistry through the University of Florida.
Jennifer joined FGCU in 2012 as a Teaching Lab Technician and was promoted to Laboratory
Coordinator in 2015. In addition to her role as Coordinator, she has also taught Biology
1. Before coming to FGCU, Jennifer did research at the University of Central Florida
on protein trafficking in malaria.
Outside of work, Jennifer is an avid fitness enthusiast. She is a CrossFit Level 2
trainer, a Krav Maga black belt, and participates in Olympic weightlifting.
