Dr. Khaldoon Nusair is the Director of the School of Resort and Hospitality Management at the Lutgert College of Business, Florida Gulf Coast University. He was Chair and Professor in Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of South Alabama (2023–2025). Before that, he held several leadership roles at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman, where he was Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research (2021–2022) and Head of the Marketing Department (2015–2021) in the College of Economics and Political Science.

From 2007 to 2014, Dr. Nusair was a faculty member at the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management. He earned his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. His research has been published in high-impact, indexed journals, and he is ranked among the top 2% of marketing scholars globally.

Dr. Nusair serves on the editorial boards of several prominent journals, including the International Journal of Information Management. He also brings industry experience from his work with multinational companies and is a frequent speaker at international conferences and industry events.
