Dr. Lan Jiang’s research focuses on hospitality finance, accounting, revenue management, and technology. Drawing on a strong background in the hospitality industry, he investigates critical research questions in hospitality and tourism, offering unique insights and perspectives. His work has appeared in leading journals, including Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, and the International Journal of Hospitality Management.

Dr. Jiang is a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) and holds the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) as well as the Certification in Advanced Hospitality and Tourism Analytics (CAHTA). He has been recognized with multiple awards since he joined FGCU in 2014, including the Scholarship Excellence Award (Researcher of the Year) in 2019 and the Teaching Excellence Award (Teacher of the Year) in 2020.
