Molly Capiga brings more than two decades of experience in journalism to her role as Assistant Director of Media & Public Relations at Florida Gulf Coast University.

With a background in broadcast, print and online news, she connects with local journalists to share compelling stories highlighting FGCU’s impact on the Southwest Florida community. As a Lee County resident for over 20 years, Molly has cultivated strong local relationships.

She joined University Marketing & Communications in November 2024. Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
