Research and Teaching Interests

Research focuses on the work of G.W.F. Hegel, particularly on Hegel’s reception of Kant’s Critical project, and on the development of Critical philosophy in Germany from Kant to Marx.

Courses Offered

Dr. Hentrup regularly teaches History of Ideas, Introduction to Philosophy, courses in the Philosophy of Religion, and courses on Kant, Hegel, and Marx. 

Dr. Hentrup currently serves as the advisor for the FGCU Philosophy Club.
