Professor Munir R. Al-Suleh joined Florida Gulf Coast University as an Adjunct Professor in U. A. Whitaker College of Engineering, in January 2011. He obtained his B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University in Jerusalem, Palestine (2000), and his M.S. Degree in Environmental Engineering (2003) and Corporate MBA (2019) from Florida International University.

Professor Al-Suleh is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida since 2007 and Texas since 2022. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2020. He has been employed as a Principal Civil Engineer - Associate at Carollo Engineers in Sarasota since April 2022. Before that he worked as a Senior Project Manager at Banks Engineering from 2020 to 2022, a Project Manager at CDM Smith from 2018 to 2020, a Senior Project Engineer at AIM Engineering and Surveying from 2016 to 2018, and a Project Engineer at Bean, Whitaker, Lutz, and Kareh (currently Haley Ward, Inc.) from 2003 to 2016. His areas of expertise are stormwater management, water and wastewater pipeline design, project management, construction management, ArcPro (GIS), AutoCAD, and Autodesk Civil 3D. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Florida Southwestern State College, School of Business and Technology.

Previously, he worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at FIU Environmental Laboratory where he helped with conducting environmental impact studies and assisted with environmental site assessments and proposing remediation technologies. He also worked as an Engineer Intern at Miami-Dade County, Department of Environmental Resource Management (DERM), where he assisted in Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis of wastewater-pumping stations data.
