Rebekah Ortega's Profile

Rebekah Ortega, music educator and percussionist, is a Bower School of Music Alumni and has been working in the field of music education for over a decade. Rebekah graduated from the Bower School of Music and the Arts with a Bachelor’s Degree is Music Education and began teaching at Estero High School in 2018 as the band, orchestra and choral director. Rebekah received two Golden Apple nominations in Lee County. After teaching for three years, Rebekah decided to pursue her passion in Mental Health and is currently working on her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health at Walden University. Rebekah is happy to be back at her alma mater, working with students pursuing their passion as she pursues hers.
