Schuss, Tatiana (M.A.)
A French Native from Burgundy, Tatiana Schuss has served FGCU since 2012, teaching all levels of French with a focus on immersive, student-centered instruction grounded in ACTFL (American Council of teachers of Foreign Language) and CEFR standards (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). She has co-developed a comprehensive French minor and coordinates the French Language program. Her pedagogy emphasizes real-world communication, cultural competence, and learning environments that support and value all students. Her enthusiasm for sharing her French heritage grew into a passion for teaching French and Francophone cultures and the French language, which she hopes to pass on to her students.
