Dr. Jiang's research focuses on applying economic theories and methodologies to study IT related topics such as new business models and pricing strategies in electronic commerce, online word-of-mouth, incentive contracting in service facilities, integration and sabotage, the role of IT in corporate governance, privacy policies, and teaching innovation. Her research appears in Decision Support Systems, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Information Systems Research, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Information Systems Education, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of Revenue & Pricing Management, Production and Operations Management, among others. She has received grants and awards recognizing her research impacts.

Dr. Jiang teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. Her teaching interests include Management Information Systems, Business Programming, Business Modeling, and Data Analytics. Prior to joining FGCU, Dr. Jiang had taught at Fordham University.
