Volunteers Needed: 'Disaster Day Interprofessional Simulation’ Event

September 23, 2025

On November 21, Marieb College of Health & Human Services will host the 2025 Disaster Day Interprofessional Simulation event at FGCU.

During this event, students from Marieb College of Health & Human Services will learn from faculty and area first responders on how best to diagnose, treat and care for patients in a simulated natural disaster.

To make this event a success for our students, we need your help!

Employees can sign up to help in the following roles:

  • Props and makeup
  • Event setup and clean up
  • Team leaders
  • And other key support roles!

While the Disaster Day Interprofessional Simulation will take place on campus in the Cohen Student Union and Recreation Field 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, November 21, volunteers are also needed days before. You can choose from a variety of time slots that fit your schedule, and a calendar is available online with all the options.

Interested? Sign up by November 1 to volunteer. If you are a subject matter expert and would like to take part in the event, sign up here.
