Nominations Open for Honorary Degrees

Each year, FGCU’s Honorary Degree Committee opens up a nomination period, where students, faculty and staff can recommend that the university consider granting an honorary graduate degree to an individual whose achievements are in concert with the mission of the institution.

If you would like to nominate someone for this honor, review the honorary graduate degree nomination requirements outlined in FGCU Regulation 3.002.

The deadline for nominations is October 1. Questions and nominations should be directed to committee chair Dawn Kirby, associate provost of Academic Programs and Curriculum Development, at dkirby@fgcu.edu.
