Veterans or active military members receive 25% off when signing up for any University Recreation & Wellness (URecWell) yearly membership during the month of November. Visit fgcu.edu/urecwell for details.
URecWell members are also encouraged to participate in the Veterans Day Murph from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at the University Recreation & Wellness Center. The Murph is in honor of U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy. It consists of a one-mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 pushups, 300 squats and an additional one-mile run. The workout can be completed in any increments or with adjustments.
