Cara Ryan is an experienced Academic Advisor with a demonstrated history of working in student support services in the higher education industry. She has held roles in Graduate Admissions, Continuing Education, Financial Aid and currently Academic Advising. She is a PhD candidate at Purdue University in Educational Studies. Cara is a skilled professional in Nonprofit Management, Coaching, Event Management, and Educational Administration. Cara has a passion for all things Higher Education and made the switch from non profit management after earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. Prior to working in Higher Education, Cara managed afterschool, in-school and supplemental STEAM programming in New York City Public Schools for 12 years.
