Join the Office of Institutional Ethics and Compliance (OIEC) for “Responsible Employee Reporting Training” at 10 a.m. via Zoom Tuesday, Sept. 24. Register here. This training will help university employees understand their requirement to report student discrimination and harassment issues, including sexual assault and sexual harassment to the OIEC/Title IX Coordinator immediately. Supervisors are required to report all harassment and discrimination issues.

Compliance and & Ethics Week Begins November 12th - 10.31.24

The week of November 11^th has been designated as Compliance & Ethics Week at FGCU. Starting November 12^th, we invite students, faculty, and staff to engage in a series of workshops, training sessions and informative presentations aimed at enhancing understanding of university policies and procedures.

The events are designed to provide participants with a deeper insight into compliance topics and ethical conduct — responsibilities that are integral to our academic community. Attached is a flyer with a list of events.

Good Morning,

As a reminder, university employees are required to report student discrimination and harassment issues, including sexual assault and sexual harassment, to the Office of Institutional Ethics and Compliance (OIEC)/Title IX coordinator immediately. Supervisors are required to report all harassment and discrimination issues.

Attached you will find a handout summarizing reporting requirements including the type of issues that need to be reported to OIEC. Additionally, you will find a flyer regarding consensual relationships at FGCU under Policy 1.007.
