Share your voice through the Great Colleges to Work For survey
February 02, 2026
The last day to participate in the FGCU Great Colleges to Work For survey is Feb. 3, and your voice matters.
The Great Colleges to Work For survey collects employee feedback on the campus culture and employee experience in order to understand what works well at FGCU and identify opportunities for growth. Your feedback is anonymous, and the data collected will be used to drive meaningful change at the university. This is your opportunity to let FGCU know what matters most to you in the workplace.
“For FGCU to be an employer of choice, we must understand the employee experience at every level and across departments,” said Dr. Eileen DeLuca, vice president of Strategic Initiatives and chief of staff. She explains that the data in this survey is most meaningful when a wide variety of voices are included.
Since the survey’s initial launch in 2024, FGCU listened to what you had to say and took action. Here’s what has been accomplished so far:
- Development of FGCU’s institutional values – Curiosity, Commitment and Collaboration
- Formation of the Employee Engagement Collective to build and support a more connected workforce through recognition and professional growth
- Enhancement of shared governance through the development of the Institutional Effectiveness and Accountability Council (IEAC) and Taskforce on FGCU Governance
- Revamp of the employee milestone program, launch of new leadership-development programs for faculty and staff and expansion of professional development opportunities
There is much to celebrate, and the Great Colleges to Work For survey is an opportunity to continue improving where we work. Following the survey, a campus-wide event will be scheduled to go over the results. Stay tuned for more details.
