Homecoming Week highlights campus collaboration and engagement

February 02, 2026

FGCU’s annual Homecoming welcomes alumni back to campus while offering students, faculty and staff a full week of events focused on connection, service and school spirit.

Homecoming is a collaborative effort among multiple academic and administrative units. Colleges and campus partners host alumni reunions and engagement activities for their graduates, while the Office of Student Involvement organizes programs for current students. Together, these efforts create a coordinated Homecoming experience that engages the entire campus community.

Dozens of brightly lit drones form the letters “FGCU” in blue and green against the night sky, while a crowd of people gathers below to watch the display on a grassy campus area known as the library lawn.

Key events include “The Launch,” “Soaring with Service,” the Alumni Awards, a comedy show, a drone show and men’s and women’s basketball games with tailgates. Faculty and staff can also participate in the office/door decorating contest, showcasing Eagle pride and creativity within departments. Offices interested in participating must submit a registration form on EagleLink. The form is open from Feb. 9–13, and the decorating contest runs Feb. 16–20. The first 20 offices to register will receive a decoration starter pack.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend events, support departmental alumni activities and show Eagle pride across campus.

Student events can be found on EagleLink, and alumni events and registration details are available at fgcu.edu/homecoming.
