Submission Guidelines:

Submissions must be previously unpublished. Each submission must be in a separate file (as noted below). 

Please do not put your name on the manuscript, artwork, or in the file name. Instead, include your name and contact information in the body of your email. Include a brief (three lines max) third-person biography in a separate file.

Drama: Submit up to five properly formatted pieces per reading period. We use standard dramatist's guild guidelines. We accept ten-minute plays (up to 10 pages), one acts (up to 30 pages), and monologues (up to five pages).

Poetry: Submit up to five poems per reading period, each in its own file. All poetry must be submitted as a Word Document, with the title of the work as the file name. In the file include a title (centered), and use Times New Roman 12 font, indented paragraphs (as applicable), and double-space with 1-inch margins.

Prose: Submit up to five narratives per reading period, each in its own file, but no more than 5,000 words. All Prose must be submitted as a Word Document, with the title of the work as the file name. In the file include a title (centered), and use Times New Roman 12 font, indented paragraphs (as applicable), and double-space with 1-inch margins.

Visual Arts:  Submit up to five (5) images per submission period. All artwork must be submitted as a high-resolution JPEG image, with the title of the artwork as the file name. Specify the art medium and size of piece in the file name or in the accompanying email. For photography, please include the location of the photo, in either the file name or in the accompanying email.

Rolling submission:
Submissions will be accepted throughout the year with a limited number of slots per Volume. In the event that a submission is accepted but cannot be published in that Volume, it will automatically be prioritized for the next Volume. The journal is published annually in the Spring. We accept submissions in multiple categories.
