Born out of FGCU's founding commitment to "endow students with the ability to think in whole systems and to understand the interrelation of knowledge across disciplines," the Department of Integrated Studies hosts academic programs and affiliated initiatives that foster in students the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute as informed, thoughtful citizens in a complex, diverse, interconnected world.
