- The Code of Student Conduct (Code) provides a framework of conduct standards for Students and Registered Student Organizations within the University community.
- These conduct standards apply to both on- and off-campus behavior.
- The Standard of Proof is Preponderance of the Evidence.
- An alleged violation of the Code may result in an Academic Integrity/Student Conduct Hearing.
- A Hearing is not a court of law.
Looking to Earn Service-Learning Hours? Join the Student Conduct Committee!
Members of the Academic Integrity and Student Conduct Committees serve a critical role by ensuring that all students are able to have the outcome of their case determined by students as well as faculty and staff. All students are eligible to apply to serve on the committee.
- A student can earn up to two (2) service-learning hours per committee hearing.
- Students must apply and successfully complete training to become a committee member.
- Student Conduct Committee members are held to a higher behavioral standard.
