About Us

The Art Galleries are located in south Fort Myers, FL on the main campus of 
Florida Gulf Coast University.

FGCU Art Galleries’ mission is to broaden the learning and cultural experiences of students and the community through exhibitions and programming. Exhibitions focus on contemporary art from local, national, and international artists. The Art Galleries offer diverse selections of mediums, content and culture while collaborating with other departments on campus to expand the scope of the visual arts.

Monday - Friday 10a.m. to 4p.m.  

Closed on the weekends
Closed on University and Federal Holidays

The Wasmer Art Gallery reflects a generous donation made by the Wasmer Family in honor of their mother, Mary. The Wasmer Family’s generous donation to the Visual Arts program and Art Gallery will have a profound impact on Florida Gulf Coast University students and the cultural enrichment of Southwest Florida.
