Hevelyn Villar (b. Brazil, 1986) is an architect, photographer and sculptor who incorporates different construction materials in her work such as concrete, wood, drywall, metal and clay. Through juxtaposition, conversion, inversion, interception and approximation she explores and reveals stillness and movement, light and darkness, and order and disorder. Form understood as a relational system among different parts is the theme of this exhibition.

Sponsored by Gene and Lee Seidler and the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture and WGCU Public Media
