Roca-Moon fund logo

In an effort to build greater compassion, kindness, and empathy the Roca-Moon Fund was created to promote consciousness raising in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Through this fund, the Department of Integrated Studies is pleased to offer small grants to faculty, students, and staff wishing to undertake projects and endeavors that advance the Department of Integrated Studies’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mission and Goals.

For the academic year 2021-2022 grants will be generally up to $1,000 (with potential for increased funding for collaborative projects) and proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Funds will be awarded on the basis of the proposal’s alignment with the department’s DEI mission, potential for consciousness raising, and availability of funds. Funded proposals will generally fall in one of six categories listed below along with additional information regarding the application  process.
