Dr. April Felton is an assistant professor in nursing. Her specialty is neonatal nursing and she is a board certified neonatal nurse practitioner. She received her MSN and DNP from the University of South Alabama. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, the National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, the Academy of Neonatal Nursing, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties and Sigma Theta Tau International. She teaches Child Health Nursing and Introduction to Professional Nursing amongst other courses.
