Chastain, Jaclyn
Jaclyn Chastain is a Coordinator for Academic Curriculum & Support, and has been an FGCU Eagle since 2011. Originally from Miami, FL, Jaclyn graduated from FGCU in 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology and a Management minor, and began working full-time at the university in 2016. She has worked in a variety of areas at FGCU, including the Honors College, Academic Achievement, Undergraduate Studies, the Quality Enhancement Plan, Exploratory Advising, and with Scholarly Innovation & Student Research. She has her M.A. in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education as of Spring 2022. She is now in the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program at FGCU to continue her scholarly and professional journey in the higher education field.
Jaclyn has a passion for education and collegiate student success. She has engaged in research and presented at both regional and national conferences on topics including: engagement in undergraduate research programming, high-impact practices and student self-efficacy, and utilizing federal financial aid to support historically underrepresented students. Jaclyn is also a member of the Staff Advisory Council and the Conserving Biodiversity Group at FGCU.
