
Chastain, Jaclyn
Jaclyn Chastain is a Coordinator for Academic Curriculum & Support, and has been an FGCU Eagle since 2011. Originally from Miami, FL, Jaclyn graduated from FGCU in 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology and a Management minor, and began working full-time at the university in 2016. She has worked in a variety of areas at FGCU, including the Honors College, Academic Achievement, Undergraduate Studies, the Quality Enhancement Plan, Exploratory Advising, and with Scholarly Innovation & Student Research. She is currently finishing her M.A. in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education.
Jaclyn has a passion for education and collegiate student success. She has engaged in research and presented at both regional and national conferences on topics including: engagement in undergraduate research programming, high-impact practices and student self-efficacy, and utilizing federal financial aid to support historically underrepresented students. Jaclyn is also a member of the Staff Advisory Council and the Conserving Biodiversity Group at FGCU.
