Katherine Mavridou-Hernandez is a proud graduate of the University of Florida English B.A. Program (December 2019) and a graduate of the English M.A. Program at Florida Gulf Coast University (May 2022).

Prior to her current role as an Adjunct Instructor at FGCU, she participated in two distinct Graduate Assistantship roles, serving as both a Writing Consultant and a Graduate Teaching Fellow. As a Writing Consultant in the FGCU Center for Academic Achievement, Katherine helped to guide students through various stages of the writing process such as brainstorming, organization, content development, citation styles, and grammar and mechanics. She also had the pleasure of serving as a Graduate Teaching Fellow through the Department of English, where she has taught both Composition I and II.

Her research interests include digital rhetoric, circulation studies, and the intersection of literature, history, and culture.
