
Smith, Rodman (MS)
Rodman received his Bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology from Shippensburg University and his Master's degree in Biotechnology with a concentration in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University. He joined FGCU in the summer of 2024 after 20 years working in the AIDS and Cancer Program at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. During his time with the ACVP, his work focused mainly on large scale production and purification of HIV and SIV, but also included monoclonal antibody and recombinant protein production and purification, as well as immunoassay development and optimization.
