Fabrizi, Sarah (Ph.D.)
Sarah Fabrizi, PhD, OTR/L, is an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy program. Before joining FGCU OT, Sarah worked as an occupational therapist in a variety of practice settings with a focus on early childhood and early intervention. Dr. Fabrizi has presented nationally and internationally and has authored in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks on topics such as play and playfulness, playgroups in early intervention, social play and friendship, social and emotional development, parent self-efficacy and engagement, and social participation. Fabrizi is co-chair of the Florida Occupational Therapy Association Research Special Interest Section, and co-facilitates the American Occupational Therapy Association's Early Childhood Community of Practice.
