The mission of the FGCU AI Summer Academy is to advance AI and Data Science education and practical skills development by offering high-impact, interactive learning opportunities for students, faculty, industry professionals, and the community in general. It embodies Dendritic's mission to foster human-centered innovation, research, and professional development in AI/DS.

The Summer Academy is designed to:
- Bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs in AI/DS.
- Empower learners with both foundational and advanced skills, tailored to academic or industry contexts.
- Foster collaboration between students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
- Position Dendritic and FGCU as a regional leader in AI/DS education and engagement.
- Create long-term value through sustained programming, visibility, and stakeholder involvement.

Program Structure

Each training runs for 8-10 hours over the span of two or five consecutive days, providing in-depth exploration of specific topics. These intensive learning experiences combine theoretical foundations with practical applications, allowing participants to develop comprehensive understanding and skills.

Single-day workshops offering hands-on experience in specific applications of AI and data science. These concentrated sessions provide practical skills and immediate applicable knowledge in specialized areas.

Expert webinars will complement the hands-on components, providing insights into key concepts and emerging trends. These live online sessions offer opportunities for engagement, discussion, and learning from anywhere.
