Inspiring the Next Generation of Cyber Educators
Designed for middle and high school computer science and IT teachers in Southwest Florida Public Schools (SWFL-PS), the FGCU GenCyber Teachers Camp is a cybersecurity education program that focuses on Network and Internet of Things (IoT) Security.

The FGCU GenCyber Teachers Camp is offered in a hybrid format, featuring an online pre- and post-camp and an in-person camp at FGCU. The camp targets 30 teachers from minority-serving schools in the SWFL-PS system, including The School District of Lee County, Collier County Public Schools, Charlotte County Public Schools, Hendry County School District, and Glades County School District. Laptops, IoT equipment, and network security tools are provided. Other participant benefits include a $900 stipend, hands-on labs, and professional development. Post-camp engagement includes monthly meetings and a symposium. Registration for 2025 is closed.
