A Delegation of Authority is a written authorization made by one University officer or body to another to exercise an authority. It confers authority upon a specific University position or office and to any incumbent of such position or office. Therefore, when an individual leaves a position, all relevant delegations remain valid and carry over to the new incumbent unless revoked.
