Delegations of Authority

A Delegation of Authority is a written authorization made by one University officer or body to another to exercise an authority. A Delegation confers authority upon a specific University position or office and to any incumbent of such position or office. Therefore, when an individual leaves a position, all relevant delegations remain valid and carry over to the new incumbent unless revoked.

This page tracks current delegations and redelegations from delegators to delegatees commencing with the Board of Trustees (level one), the President (level two), and the direct reports to the President such as the Vice Presidents and other senior administrators (level three).
