Get Up & Go stretching & relaxation session

Get Up & Go is a staff wellness initiative designed to help FGCU employees get away from their desks for short periods to do some simple stretches and deep-breathing exercises in a private room to relaxing music.

Dr. Patti Bauer, assistant professor of rehabilitation sciences and advisor for Exercise is Medicine On Campus, is wearing athletic clothing (black bottoms and a grey t-shirt) while performing a stretch. With both feet wide apart, she places her left hand on her thigh and her right hand towards the left side pointing towards the ceiling.   

It is led by Dr. Patti Bauer, assistant professor of rehabilitation sciences and advisor for Exercise is Medicine On Campus. This semester, the sessions are held in Marieb Hall, Room 103, from 11:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. Tuesdays. Space is limited.
