2022 Spring Mathletes-Days
We are excited to announce 2022 Spring Mathletes-Day Sessions! Mathletes-Days are an expansion of our Summer camp, which is targeted to boost students' interest and engagement in STEM-related areas based on Mathematics. We offer two different sessions which will be on Saturday, April 23rd, and on Saturday, May 7th,  from 9:00am-12:30 pm at FGCU main campus.

Saturday, April 23rd, Session:
In this session Mathletes will become rocket scientists! They will learn about altitude and its relationship with atmospheric pressure and the Ideal Gas Law. They will construct their own air-rockets and measure the height of the rockets with an altimeter to collect maximum height data.

Saturday, May 7th, Session:
In this session Mathletes will explore between Mathematics and Physics through a lesson on Rollercoasters where they will build their own model rollercoaster to understand the principles behind how it works.

Both sessions are free and open to students who are currently enrolled in 7th and 8th grade. Mathletes may elect to attend one or both sessions.
We will only accept 20 students for each session and the registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If your child is interested in attending the Mathletes-Day, please register at Spring 2022 Mathletes Day Registration
