Faculty Staff Directory Updates

All non-faculty submissions will create a web marketing request upon submission. For all questions regarding non-faculty profiles, contact umc@fgcu.edu.

Professional studio portraits are provided as a courtesy for faculty, staff and authorized student workers. For more information on open studio times, please check the Open Studio page.

By default, the directory will display your basic information along with a gray avatar image. Additional details, such as a short bio and photo, depend on your department's guidelines for consistency. The content should reflect the department's goals and branding, so coordinating with the department's web editor is advisable to ensure alignment and relevance.

If your name is missing from the directory, there are two main reasons:

• New employee – If you just started, your information may not have synced yet with Workday. Please allow time for your Workday record to process.

• Protected status – Employees can be marked as private for legal reasons (e.g., having a relative in law enforcement).

  • If you believe you were incorrectly marked as private, you must contact General Counsel to request removal of protected status.

  • Information for protected employees cannot be manually entered into the directory website.

For incorrect information, follow the correct Workday process:

• Work space and preferred name must be done inside of Workday using the cooresponding job aids.
• Phone number and email can be requested by Help Desk.
  • The phone or email change must be made inside of Workday to reflect on the directory website.
    Any inquiries about phone or email, please mention these are changes for Workday, not for the directory, to reduce confusion.
• Job title changes need to be made by the department's business manager using a 'Change Business Title' process.
  
  • Business managers: Type 'Change Business Title' in the search bar inside of Workday.
• For all other information, such as bio, education, photo, etc, please fill out the form below.
