As FGCU seeks to become a model of continuous improvement under its new strategic plan, it is vital to gather feedback on the work experiences of our faculty and staff. This information helps strengthen our employee experience and fosters an environment where all employees feel supported, appreciated and that they have tools they need to thrive and grow.
In 2024, FGCU partnered with ModernThink, an independent management consulting firm, to administer the “Great Colleges to Work For” survey. Now that the spring term’s results have been aggregated and analyzed, we are using the data as a tool to guide our next steps.

Now that we have our results, FGCU is creating a bottom-up input process that helps us develop, at an institutional level, improvement initiatives that are systematic, coordinated and consistent. Feedback from staff and faculty is being collected at divisional, college and school meetings, and employees can fill out the following feedback form. Form submissions will be compiled and presented to Cabinet for consideration as university leaders establish a top five list of campus priorities as we map out our action plans moving forward.
