Construction Management Department Named at FGCU!
Florida Gulf Coast University's construction management department received a $2.5 million gift from Stock Development, improving education for students in Southwest Florida's construction industry. The department is now named the Stock Development Department of Construction Management, highlighting the company's commitment and longstanding involvement with the university.

As a construction management student, I have completed three research papers and presented them at FGCU and other universities, competed in three major Construction Management competitions, finished four internships, and earned two certifications. I have collaborated closely with students, faculty, and industry leaders across multiple projects. As President of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) FGCU Student Chapter, I organized events with industry partners to support student professional development. I was inducted into Sigma Lambda Chi, the Construction Honor Society, and received multiple scholarships, including the Lennar Fellows Scholarship Program. Construction Management at FGCU has been a community of opportunity and support and the foundation for my professional and academic growth. ”
