Make the most of this special time
This is a time to celebrate, but also a time to keep friends, family and loved ones safe and healthy. Get details on planning the festivities.
To accommodate as many participants as possible and ensure everyone’s safety, the Fall 2021 Grad Walk will require the cooperation of graduates and their guests as well as the coordination of dozens of volunteers. Give yourself plenty of time to park and to check in at Alico Arena before your registered time.
Prepare to follow posted CDC guidelines. Everyone entering Alico Arena will be expected to wear a mask at all times, even if vaccinated, but the university is legally prohibited from requiring them. Please practice physical distancing from anyone not in your party whenever possible.
Although they are not required, you can order cap and gowns through the FGCU Cap and Gown Order website as well as purchased or rented on campus at Barnes & Noble at Florida Gulf Coast University. The bookstore is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
