First Time In College Student Orientation

First Time in College (FTIC) and Transfer students who are admitted for the Spring 2020 semester will attend a one-day Eagle View Orientation program that will acquaint incoming students to FGCU. We understand that this next step and becoming an Eagle can feel a little overwhelming. You probably have a lot of questions already. Be sure to explore the rest of our website to learn more about the orientation and transition process. 

Orientation Dates

*spring 2020 Orientation registration begins the second week of October

 

First Time In College (FTIC) students who are admitted for the spring 2020 semester will attend a one-day Eagle View Orientation program. This program includes a variety of introductory presentations to acquaint incoming students with all the resources available to them and meet with an advisor to schedule classes for the spring 2020 semester.

How To Register

Registering for Orientation is as easy as 1-2-3!

1.Keep an eye on your email. Admitted students will receive an email with information about next steps, including registering for Orientation.

2. Activate your Eagle Email. This is your official student account that will be used for your FGCU email and more - like registering for Orientation. 

3. Log in and complete your orientation registration!   

Cost of Orientation

Your orientation fee covers the costs of providing the Orientation experience, including facility rentals, materials provided, trained staff to assist in your transition to FGCU, overnight accommodations, meals and snacks, and programming throughout students' first year. 

$35.00 - Orientation Fee

$30.00 - First Year Experience Programming Cost 

$20.00 - Meals (Dinner on Day 1 & Breakfast on Day 2) and Snacks 

$25.00 - Overnight Accommodations
