Explore AI through summer academy

The 2026 FGCU AI Summer Academy is a hands-on, expert-led program from May 4–29. Hosted by Dendritic: A Human-Centered AI and Data Science Institute, the academy is free for FGCU employees and students.

The academy is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science, empower learners with foundational and advanced skills, foster collaboration, position the university as a regional leader and create long-term value.

The academy offers workshops, webinars and training sessions focused on AI, covering many topics including:

• AI literacy

• AI tools

• Leadership and strategy

• Cybersecurity

• Business applications

Select training programs also include micro-credential opportunities for participants who successfully complete them.
